Drivers seat legroom

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I'm driving a 2019 Superb. I've got a back problem that means I need the seat in its highest position. This is fine in theory but I'm quite tall, and as you jack the seat up, due to the mechanism, it seems to go forward!

In its lowest position, I have loads of leg room,  but after a few miles my back is in pain.

In the seats highest position (and the pushed back as far as it will go) I'm too far forward for my long legs!

I'm trying to find out if there is a way to maybe be adjust the seat on its tracks so that I gain some more legroom, or if there's some sort of kit available to re-position the seat to solve my problem??

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance to you all.

Denny.

You don't give us any detail of your car...so...electric or manual seats?

Hi Mandp,

My apologies, the seats are manual. The model of the car is an Ambition spec (Irish,  which will probablybe less well spec'd than a British version for some reason!). The best I can do on the model is that it's a:

"Superb HAT 2.0TDi, 150 Ambtn W v3"

Hope this clears it up?
