What pressure on Toyo T1-R's?

Featured Replies

Just got a couple fitted on today, the guy said that he's put them both on 30psi and to leave them at this pressure for about 200/300 miles so that they wear better..

Shall I ignore this and pump them up to a higher pressure straight away? Also, what pressure is everyone using for theirs once the tyres have worn in for 2/300 miles?

You should just use the same pressure as the standard tyres. Running them low will wear out the ouside edges and could lead to a blow out at high speed!

I've had my Toyos on 34 psi (front) / 32 psi (rear) for a year now, and they are wearing evenly. Mine look a bit bulgy even at 34 psi - yours must look awful. Pump 'em up.

Most definitely did look awful! So much so that I pumped them up the next day anyway to 32psi but will pump them to 34 next time I'm at the petrol station. Thanks guys :)
