Help!!!!???

I have a very annoying fault with my Octavia 1.6. the car is 16 months old and the problem started after a routine service

(I am based in Malaysia where the technical support is not so good)

Every so often the when driving the revs will increase to 40k, obviously resulting in uncontrolled increase in speed. Half the time this will correct itself as quick as it started but on other occasions, the engine will just stop! There is no warning and no pattern to this it is purely random. After it takes 2 - 3 minues to restart the engine

On one occasion, it happened 1 minute after start up and the breaking system became ineffective (Scary!!!)

The local Skoda dealer claims to have reset the ECU but are at a complete loss as what to do next.

I would appreciate any advice on what to do next

your better goin over 2 ask a tech. hope u get it sorted quick m8
