Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update

Just out of curiosity:

I updated my system with SD card. That worked flawlessly.

Before that, I tried to use a USB Stick. But that was not recognised as an update by the system.

 

Anyone know why?

OEM sat nav
I used Apple Car play but i want to add nav skoda on my MST2

@Th0th06976 infotainment reader, also called "glove box unit", must be replaced - but is it really worth to spend 400 EUR on adding oem sat nav, which is always offline and outdated? If your answer is "yes" then ypu can contact me on PM.
