Put your build codes into this site which will decode them for you;

Promethesus - I think it would help if you removed the trapdoor/panel and took a photo of what is there?

Can you not lay on your back and stick your head up behind the bumper to see if the towbar receptacle and the electrical socket is there? Take your camera too...

Prometheus - is that a Roomster Scout?

Doesn't look like mine at all ... I'll post a photo of the bumper later

There again, perhaps it does - it looks like the internal cut hasn't been made by the dealer.

Not necessarily a bad thing as the cut was usually bodged by incompetent stealers

yes its a scout :) is the bumper a pig to get off, i did take the inner panel off within the boot to try and find the towing modul i think its called and thats not there.

only electrics i can see heading to the area behind the bumper is the revering sensors.

It's easy to get off, 3 x screws in each rear wheelarch, 2 x either side of the hatch opening and you may have some plastic captive clips underneath.

With all the screws out you just peel it off from each wheelarch - being careful to unclip the parking sensor loom from the sensors.

10 mins, tops
