Voice control voice

Featured Replies

Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to turn up the voice that replies to my voice commands, the one which says "calling whoever", I'm finding it very quiet. Fabia colour edition 2020

This is just a guess (and I'm not sure it's relevant to your car) but the sat nav & music volumes can be set independently.

Try adjusting the sat nav volume as it's playing and that might also sort out the voice volume.

Thanks, but my car doesn't have sat nav. I'm probably being picky but the voice that says "Calling John" is very quiet and I wondered if there was a way to turn it up.

Have you got the phone volume turned up?
Is this via Android Auto/CarPlay?

Yes, once the person answers the volume is fine, it's just the woman's voice that tells me who I'm calling that's quiet.

Sorry, missed the second part. No it's via bluetooth, but as I say once the person answers the volume is fine.

Is the message car or phone created?

If it is phone created then try to increase the 'media volume' on your phone under settings and then sound.

If it is car created then turn the volume of the car up when the message is being spoken.

Thanks AG Falco

Thanks, turning up media on phone worked. It's a swing + system and very different to the bolero which was in my last car.

You need to adjust the volume as the voice is talking. So get the system to say something that you are having difficulting hearing and while it is talking just roll the volume roller up on the steering wheel controls.

This is the same as when you are using the handsfree or sat-nav via CarPlay etc....

Thanks, will do that this morning.
