Felicia interior trim rattles

Featured Replies

How are you fellow forum members?
My felly has started sounding a bit rattly.
Let me explain, in the last few months a lot of squicks and rattles have developed in almost all interior trims.
More precisely, dash appears to make a plastic slightly squeaking rattle from behind the glovebox.
Both doors appear to have a metal on plastic rattle that can also be recreated when i tap the trim and stops if i press the trim inwards.
And finally in the rear of the car inside the right c pillar somewhere in the middle there is a sqeaky rattle or something.
My question is as follows: which screws do I have to re-check for tightness and which plastic clips should I replace.
Note that in the last few months quality of the roads here in Patras,Greece have detiriorated drastically (not that they were good before), something that could explain the sudden increase of rattles.
Even so I would like your contribution before I start taking everything apart.
Even my poor alfas are starting to get rattly...

Same problem here. You can blame the age or the global warming. The result will be the same unless you buy new parts which are impossible to find.

So you say it's just the plastics getting old and loose not being able to absorb vibrations as they used to.

Yes, mainly that. The plastic gets brittle. The same for rubber parts.  Moreover, the body takes a beating too. The suspension gets old. And so on.
