Best Pressure washer?

Featured Replies

Hi All

I’m after a pressure washer for a budget of around £250.

I've read reviews for the Karcher k4 and there’s a few good deals around at the moment but I’ve also come across models such as wills-USA on eBay which appear to be very powerful for not a lot of money.

what are people’s experiences and does anyone own a K4?

Generally looking at car cleaning with a snow foam lance and cleaning brick work and patios so it needs some power to suit.

Have a look at Nilfisk Pressure washers. They are very good value for the money.

Wait a few weeks and find a cheap Kranzle.

I'd echo that.

Had a few others including an stupidly expensive Karcher one and they have all bit the dust.

My current C130 was bought 4 years ago and is perfectly fine.

Mine is a C130. I've had mine about 3 years. Excellent piece of kit.

I'll second (or 3rd, or 4th?) Nilfisk. They have metal impellers as standard so don't melt so much if run dry and should last a bit longer.

High pressure pumps don't use impellers, they might have a brass cylinder head rather than a plastic one though.

Actually this makes total sense.

I have had a couple of different Karchers which were ok but eventually gave up the ghost.

After doing quite a bit of research, Nilfisk came up as a worthy and better pressure washer replacement, which I subsequently bought from Cleanstore.co.uk.

The model I bought was a Nilfisk E145 which has performed admirably, whether in the garden or on the car, great pressure and performance.

Hope this helps you.
