Skoda Superb Mk 3 FL Traffic Sign Recognition

Hi, I try to activate traffic sign recognition on Skoda Superb Mk 3 FL but without succes, these errors occur:
ECU: 0017 - Dash Board U111000 ($FFFF34 / 16777012) Function restriction due to communication interruption DTC text: BAP_VZA_0x21 keine Kommunikation
ECU: 005F - Information Control Unit 1 U111100 ($1C21 / 7201) Function limitation due to missing message DTC text: Road sign display (0x21) - function restriction due to communication error - BapErr_retry not successful
System description : MQB MFK 3.0  
SoftwareVersion 1027  
HardwareVersion H11  
VW/Audi part number 2Q0980653

I have a FL 2019 Superb saloon. I applied below coding and I am using obdeleven for coding. I'm taking currently restricted error. Maybe you can help me with the same error.

 

STG A5> Coding> Activate byte 16> bit 4 ("Traffic sign recognition (VZE) active [PR-QR9]") ==> I could not activate because  I got an error 31 function not available but I activated VZE from not_coded to coded 
STG 17> Coding> Byte 05> Activate bit 2 ("Traffic sign recognition installed / active") ==> I activated this one
STG 5F> Adjustment>…
> Channel "Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-traffic_sign_recognition_0x21"> Set value to "activated" ==> I activated this one
> Channel "Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-traffic_sign_recognition_0x21_msg_bus"> Set value to "Data bus extended" ==> I activated this one
> Channel "Car_Function_Adaptations_Gen2-menu_display_road_sign_identification"> Set value to "activated" ==> I activated this one

Looking at this, the only error I think is this one (this one needs to be activated - the other error doesn't matter):

First off all thank you for quick response. I tried again with two mobile phone but nothing changed. I take same error. Are you sure this channel correct for new camera(2Q0980653) ? Maybe moved another channel. Because I active lane assist with a few different codes. I added STG A5 long coding photo. Maybe it works.

That may be because the FL uses a different camera, have a look at A5 and see if it is a

If so it is the new type and needs different coding.

I have a FL with factory enabled Traffic signs so if you know where you want me to look I am happy to do so.

Yes, Our cars camera is the same.

This is STG A5 code. There are some differences. I will try to check but It will be a little difficult for me. Can you share the coding photo with me?

Sorry, I didn't realise urs was a facelift.

 

In that case, scratch everything - the coding, adaptations etc etc have changed alot between the pre-FL and FL, across all the modules.

You manage to activate this feature? I tried on my side to activate on Superb 3Fl 2020, but without success, I have the same error. The coding trat I tried(I found on the internet) is the same as you.

u can do the above code changes using either VCDS (vcds cable + laptop with vcds software

or OBDEleven (dongle + mobile app).

 Thanks @JR RS. I see the OBDEleven online, including various versions, e.g. Pro. (it's crazy what you can do with it).

 

My mechanic who has a certified workshop has worked on many vehicles (VW and Audi but not Skoda). He obviously has his own scan tools. I told him about the electronic service record and that there is no physical service book. Does the OBD allow updating of the service record or does the workshop have to have access to erWin?

the vehicle service record system is an entire different thing and both vcds and obdeleven don't go anywhere near it.   the only thing u can do in relation is reset the service reminder/indicator.
