Emissions Workshop Error again after new EGR

Featured Replies

Any help would be wonderful please friends.

Ok i got the Emissions workshop error on the dash, i had a google of the error and its seems it is an EGR problem, so i replaced the EGR valve with a brand new Haas valve. the issue i have is 1500 miles later the error has come back.  can anyone advise what next.

  1. i also have 16785 code on the code reader (Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System: Insufficient Flow Detected)
  2. The exhaust system  seems to be allowing the gasses out freely (doesnt appear any of the boxes have collapsed)
  3. the performance and economy are still very good (still doing its usal MPG)

Incase any of the following helps

Its a

Skoda Octavia 1.9TDI

Milage 112000

Serviced every 10k with Shell Helix 0/30 C2/C3 fully synthetic oil

The car runs seemingly perfect without issue but does have this error warning and mil light comes on.

Just to clarify i have cleared the logs and the mil light after the initial replacement of the EGR valve.

Kind regards

Antony
