RS with Superchips versus the others

Many thanks for putting the problems with Superchip into perspective. Any company that fails to listen to its customers, or treat them with due consideration, will be the loser in the end. I will continue to follow this thread, and similar threads on this and other forums, with interest. And in the end when I get my car chipped I will go to a firm that I get good vibes about based on the reported experiences of enthusiasts like you.

Can't comment for others but I can't recommend Jabbasport enough.

They gave me a huge increase (57bhp)

It was custom to my car, not "off the shelf"

It's sensible (not silly boost)

It's incredibly driveable, not all or nothing.

The map (I'll scan the plot) follows the original, except holding power where the original tailed off.

They were friendly, family run, and all car nuts themselves.

They could have sold me something else on the day, but didn't.

Free coffee (as in help yourself, no immense value but "homely")

Free advice, and happy to be "annoyed" with questions during the day.

It was cheap (

Ian,

That a lot of power, what are the peaks in torque and power? I guess your 4 x 4 engine starts out at 150 bhp.

If you could scan and post the plot for torque and power that would prove most useful for comparison with the Superchips results although all RRs are different.

I recall you are looking at a Milltek CAT and d/p like me Jons experience was good and I would expect the same with your Jabbachip.

Are there any cheaper ones? Jabba's remap sevice is now over

Cheer up! Half is better than none, provided it is the right half. Do I detect hidden innuendo?

Ah...........D.C.I Denis

Maybe you could investigate the disappearance of ones poultry. last seen at a car park up norf.

The infamous rubber chicken, I believe. Briskoda HQ are having it stuffed and mounted as a memento of Sunday's Meet. It will be hung in honour betweeen 2 polished sump pans which sadly (and literally) passed away from their owners during the same event.
