VCDS 09 Cent Elec no access

Featured Replies

Hi all

Advice please.  Octavia VRS 2019.  I am able to enter the security code for 09 Central Elec using 31347 which the dialogue box says is accepted but the 10 Adaptions box stays shaded and inaccessible.  I have Numerously disconnected the VCDS adapter, switched ignition on and off and rebooted my laptop but the same happens.

Can anyone advice what I can do?

many thanks

Simon

What VCDS cable do you have? 2019 models require a HEX-V2 or HEX-NET.

VCDS cable is HEX-V2 software 19.6.2.  What I find odd is that the security code is accepted but then nothing changes?

Try updating to the latest 20.4.1 version of VCDS there have been some recent bug fixes...

Updated to 20.4.  09 Cent Elec, 10 Adaptions option was available.  Selected the code change I was after and it asked for the security code which I entered 31347.  The coding changes were then accepted.  I now have High Beam Assist option under Lights and the Highbeam Indicator on the dash has the A next to it.  Not the greatest adaption to the car but kept me occupied.

So upgrading to version 20.4 looks to have resolved the issue, many thanks for the advice
