Cool beans. Not a bother.

I’ve also realised I might have made a boo boo 🤦‍♂️ I got the part 28833-3, I thought that fits all vrs estates but when I was looking up about the components in the box it says that part is for the 4WD models and I think now I should have bought the 28833-1 or 28833-2 parts. Can’t the -3 parts not be used on my 2WD vrs? What is the difference in them do ye know?

Feck it anyway 🤦‍♂️

Axle weight is the issue, you need 28833-2 for a FWD diesel and 28833-1 for a petrol. The car will sit higher at the back with the 28833-3’s but they might fit.

  • All skodas stance is too high. I also lowered my normal suspension with coilovers but not too much because I don't like it too low, for me this is how normal octavia should look from factory:

Lowered on Eibach pro with DCC for approx 30000km now, no regrets at all from me. Handling is great and I think it looks alright too.

I was chatting to the supplier and he has said to return them, get a refund and I’ll reorder the correct ones then. All good. I’m just a pure ejit is all. Thanks for the info though.

Following this as may be looking to do something to my octavia vrs. Car feels really wobbly and handling feels poor. I have done tracking to it and shocks are fine for the time being. But it just doesn't feel right. I have another car and that one is on eibach springs. It's a dream to drive but very stiff and uncomfortable on bumps and most roads to be fair (it's a track car). I don't want this kind of thing to happen with the octavia but it'd do with an upgrade, looking for something intermediate not too stiff but I want better handling. Any suggestions or do I just lower on springs. Thanks

I was thinking to do mine too.I'd love to...but some places I go (potholes, high speed bumps.I go often to Wales (Snowdonia),and even like this in some places almost scraping the front bumper .
