Planning on renewing to a 2020 edition from my 2018 edition. Has there been much in the way of revisions to the kodiaq in the past two years that I should consider other than some changes to engine sizes?

Main difference is the new badging on the rear. Kodiaq facelift will be revealed next year, so perhaps you may want to wait for that instead.

 

Model year 21 cars will have the new steering wheel from the Octavia, your 190PS TDI engine will be replaced with an updated 200PS TDI engine, KESSY sensors will be on all doors, and the new MIB 3 infotainment system makes it debut on the Kodiaq. You can read more into the changes here:
