Seats upgrade.

Featured Replies

Good morning,

Last week I was in Germany where I rented a car for a few days with which I drove a little bit more than 1'000km.

The comfort of the seats was really stunning compared to the S2.

Thus I would like to know if seats are using standardised mounting points and electrical controls/warming ?

If yes, then it could be nice to swap the S2 seats for those ones.

The car,  is a Jaguar XF,

Vw did a Passat seat when the SII was out. It was more supportive than the SII comfort seats. I cannot remember the name. That might fit like plug an play.

You might get the Jaguar seat to fit with thefixings - if not put new brackets in -, but you will probably have a problem with the airbags and other controllers.

These things tend to be fairly specific, most likely to the chassis/platform. Have a look at other cars on the PQ35/PQ46 platforms in the VAG group brands.
