I have a 2002 1.4 mpi fabia with no reverse lights. Took switch out to check and swith out is infinite resistance and switch pushed in is zero resistance so the switch is fine. Cut the connector off, bridged the two wires, switch on ignition and still no reverse lights. Bulbs tested fine. I'm stumped. Any ideas? 

Check fuse. 

Manual shows as 13 for reverse light fuse. The allocated 13 spot in fuse box does not take a fuse. It worked a few months back. But you may be right, somewhere along the line the fuse diagram doesn't seem right. I did check all fuses though with a multimeter and all test fine .
