Octavia vrs mk2 fl tsi (2010).

Driving along I got the ABS, ESP and TPMS lights up at once :(

Scanned and saw the below (VCDS autoscan error sections below).

I had a look around and apparently the teves ABS pumps are known to fail.

Would mine be impacted or would it just be the sensor/ring?

 

If it is the sensor/ring - am I correct in understanding that:

- the hub and bearing need replacement?

- the sensor would need replacement too?

It's very common for this to occur.

You need to replace the entire bearing as the ABS ring is built into it and you can't replace it. You can get them easily. Pattern parts are available for around £25.

 

 

Sometimes a good cleaning can solve it as mud and debris can be collected and so sensor misreads.

Entire bearing was replaced. Old one was heavily rusted.

Update. It has reared its ugly head again.

 

Time for a new sensor? The low pressure alert was due to a tyre with low pressure not long ago.

Not time for a new sensor. "Electrical Fault in Circuit" is the clue.

 

The wiring harness will be damaged. It runs from the sensor in the hub to the ABS multiblock.

Thanks. I've got it in for MOT today so I'll ask them to try and sort it. 

Update: Garage advised that they'll want to change the sensor first then monitor. 
MOT has passed.
