It's a little darker as expected but it's still decent quality!

Yes very easy indeed, however I haven't got it hard wired into the fuse box yet. It's going ti a 12v socket. 

The rear camera is linked to the ftint camera via a 6 metre long wire

Is that the rear view camera that sticks to the tailgate window and needs a very long cable run or is it the rear view camera that attaches directly to the dashcam, if the latter where did you fix it, I rather thought either the rear view mirror or one of the sun visors would obstruct the view to the rear? Very useful to have if you're rear ended.
