Any Citigo-e IV user

Featured Replies

Hi all

Horray….just got the car back from the main dealer.   And plugged it into my home wall box and it says the car is now charging at 7Kw,   At long last after a year and a half they have been able to address the low charging issue I’ve had with the car since it’s been new

it obviously pays to contact Skoda customer services if you want this issue sorted on your Citigo e IV

couldnt be happier

Hello all,

I’m considering buying a Citigo iV as my first ev for use as a works delivery car so i read this thread with interest.

I’d hope that by now all Citigo iVs have had their charge controllers replaced and should charge at 7kw? I’d be doing public charging which i realise is significantly more expensive but i live in a flat so can’t charge at home..

Aside from the charging issue are these cars generally reliable? I’ve had Fabias for the last 7 years or so and they’ve never missed a beat.

Thanks for any advice.

Yes no problems, range about 160 miles but down to 120 when it is very cold.

sorry to jump on the waggon late

we have a Citigo IV and love it we only charge from a three-pin granny charger but the car went in for service and the main dealer ( who had never seen a Citigo IV) said there was a high-voltage charging fault but wanted us to pay to have it investigated this doesn't seem right to me and is it a similar fault to the ones you are talking about ?

Also, has anyone used obd11 to get climate control so that they remember the last setting and do not revert to 22 degrees every time they start the car?

Hi, don't know about the high-voltage charging fault but would really like to set the Aircon to 19 degrees default if anyone knows the code.

@Bigtow  does that dealership actually have a trained and qualified technician that can work on EV,s?

Not sure if I am honest the first time we pulled up out side the whole dealership were in shock when they saw the color coded grill ( our citigo is in hyper green)
