Parcel shelf.

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone else has issues with their parcel shelf lifting up and flapping around with the breeze of the windows being down?

I've had a look as best as I can to see if there's anything up with it but it appears to just not click into place on the holders behind the back seats.

Anyone got any advice? It can get really distracting and irritating.

Cheers

it is generally a very positive click onto the two pins, are you sure you have pressed the "grippers" home?

As John said the grippers work pretty good but, they've gotta be fully in however, even if fully gripped they give up at speed with all the windows down. Whilst doing this this does vacuum the car at the same time as getting a lot of the residual heat outta the internal plastics ect. I had this happen & know what speed you were doing 😇😇😇

FYI, wear close fitting sunglasses if its been a long time since you've hoovered the car, depending on wind direction grit starts flying around at 130😳😳😳

I suspect our friend here has lost his rubber grippers to stop the parcel shelf from flapping around. They can easily detach, so it maybe a case of getting new parcel shelf rubber mounts to fix the problem.

Just so I know what I'm looking at later.
