Number Plate Lights

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

strange issue errrm. Unplugged and the passenger side number plate light whilst I installed a reverse camera. Plugged it back in and now neither of the number plate lights are working.

Both bulbs are fine and fuse 36 which I believe  is the correct fuse for them isn’t blown. It’s going to be a week or so before I can get the voltmeter out so wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

thanks

mike

I'm guessing you haven't checked the right fuse yet, keep looking.

Is 36 not the number plate light fuse? It’s the only one labelled as that.

Fit a new fuse there to rule out a 'hard to see' break.

yeah probably a good call 👍🏻

Yes it is.

Here's the wiring diagram. There's not much to it, items 26 are the number plate lights....

I’ve got some spare fuses so I’m going to replace that anyway but I’m wondering if there is a connector in the boot lid that might have gotten caught when I was putting all the trims back 🤔
