Superb III A/V headrests fed from Columbus

Hi all,

Picked up my Superb a week ago and I'm super impressed with it 🙂

I've got two children who like the DVD player when car is stationary, but not so keen when video is disabled on Columbus unit when car is in motion. I've read the the Columbus unit can feed the Audio & Video to head units, which seems a great idea to me. DVD plays audio via speakers and video to head units only for rear passengers when car is in motion.

Anyone got any knowledge / experience of fitting such head units?

Sadly said goodbye to my mk4 vrs estate in black last weekend. Exactly 3 years old, 28k miles - a great car (apart from the Bridgestone tyres!) If anyone is after a good mk4 with pan roof, winter pack and complete Skoda service history, they have it for sale at Winchester Skoda and Ryan is your man. Took delivery of a brand new stock vrs estate in Smokey Silver. Tow bar, winter pack, pan roof, dcc, canton and simply clever pack. Early thoughts are they it sounds so much nicer on the exhaust not

Good morning everyone, I need your help resolving an issue I can't seem to resolve, even with the help of Skoda customer service. I purchased a Superb Style, registered in Italy in 11/2024 (steering wheel with Skoda logo, not lettering), with the Lounge Design setup (the seats are electric except for the forward movement which is manual and does not have position memories). I paid for an hours access to ErWin this evening to download all the service manuals for our Kodiaq as I am intending to start doing basic servicing myself. I got an alert about a "Field Measures" warranty campaign outstanding. It relates to updating the BCM software with ODIS as there is an identified fault that the doors can lock even with the key present inside the vehicle. The Warranty expired September 2024 and the campaign was issued July 2024. We have been using VAG independant spec
