please help me as I am about to rip the dashboard out of my 300 mile old Tavia vRS.

Is there any way (easy prefered) to stop the seatbelt reminder buzzer from sounding when you turn on the ignition??

(OK funny people no "try putting your seatbelt on" posts)

I spend a fair amount of time working in the car so spend a lot of time turning the ignition on to open windows use cigar lighter etc etc, and the feckin thing is driving me crazy.

can Vag-Com do this??

can I hard wire the seatbelt thingy??

Have a word with your dealer and they usually have a scrap belt or two hanging around the place. Cut the clip out of it and then you can insert this and fool the system.

Your local dealer should be able to turn this off with there vag tool. I dont think VAGCOM can do this.

I have had mine for 2 1/2 years now, and I guess I have got used to it as it no longer bothers me. I am forever starting mine for one reason or another without seatbelt fastened

but has anyone had the seat belt catch apart? I am presuming it just makes a contact so could be shorted??
