09-Cent. Elect. Missing.

Featured Replies

Hello in the forum
My car is an Octavia Combi 1.4TSI DSG FL 2017/18
I need a little help with my VCDS. When I bought my car 8 months ago, I had access to 09-Cent. Elect. and could use long coding. Now it says that there is no access to the device, can be seen in the attached picture.
Why can I suddenly lose access to this?
Can I do anything to re-create access?
It's annoying when all the light tweaks are in there.
Puts a log file in too, there are a few bugs, but do not think they are the ones teasing, it has been like that with 09-Cent. Elect. long time.

Sorry my bad English.

Your logs show that you CAN access the BCM at 09 but that it is the newer type that does not use long coding, every setup is by adaptation channels.

Okay, thanks for answer. But I am sure I had access to 09 earlier, but you mean that I never had access to it??

So all coding should be in 10 adaption??
where do I find help to do the coding/adaption to fog lights??

Access to a module is different to being able to change coding B)

As I said there is NO CODING (look at your Auto-Scan there is no line for coding in 09), all changes have to be made via 10 Adaptation.

Try looking at the stickies at the top of the Octavia III forum on here, you will find threads about changes that can be made to FL models like yours.
