Sorry if this has been asked before but i have a few questions about coding using VCDS

 

I have recently purchased a new (to me) Superb III L&K. Overall very happy but it was missing a couple of options. 

 

I wish to add traffic sign recognition and auto high beams as well as disable the stop start by default.

 

If I were to purchase a VCDS unit as i have planned (mother has an out of warranty Yeti also so worth having a unit for diagnostics so my mother doesnt get shafted on repairs), would i be able to add these features via coding as i belive i have all the required cameras as it has ACC and auto lights and wipers?

 

Also is this process difficult for a novice? Im perfectly computer literate and a bit of a tech head so not scared of trying it,

Yes you can add Traffic Sign recognition fairly easily - instructions here:

 

You should be able to disable stop start (see the same linked thread for a guide) - but I haven't done that.

 

I'm not sure whether you can add auto high beam.
