Good morning, thinking of getting a PCX 125 for commuting to work. 

 

Does anyone have a scooter on here? 

 

Advice, opinions on commuting? It's 27 miles each way to work. I can use dual carrigways/country roads.

mid 60's 250cc Maicoletta ( had a brace of them when fairly  new )

Have you had a bike before ? my first one 125 Lambretta was in 1961 & commute was 20 miles each way into the middle of London.

Get the best helmet you can afford, same goes for protective clothing & boots.

Get some practice riding before committing to the commute

Ride defensively, but NOT in the gutter - treat all other traffic as if they're out to get you!

Whatever you do, enjoy it

Got a Series 2 Lambretta rusting away in the back garden, must sell that!
