Plug yours into VCDS/ODIS etc and it'll give you the engine code from the ECU.

That won’t work bro as I have a cthe unit but the ecu is still From the Cav so it still comes up as a Cav

My ECU is from 2016, so it'd be interesting to see what it would throw up actually
