What's  'Laura' all about? She keeps popping up without invitation asking what she can do. It sure she could be useful if the software worked correctly and only when asked.

I got the smaller screen and Android Auto.

It can be a handy way to change temperature, turn on heated seats etc. but it was triggered by things playing on the stereo more often than by me so I just turned it off too. 
 

besides, the shortcut button on the steering wheel is better anyway. You can also long press it to trigger Siri or google assistants. 

Not what I was expecting, I thought for a minute Skoda had brought the 'Laura' name back

Yes, she keeps asking me the same question, too.  I don't use voice command much, so perhaps she is feeling left out...

this laura thing, i have tried but it keeps saying your car is not not equipped for skoda portal and other features,mind you iam saying telling me it come in text mode.i am now thinking the car is still on factory settings and has not been set up.

just my luck,i will see what they have to say monday that is if they get back to me.if not i will have a drive over to the skoda garage.when i have time to do so.

Just rename her Sonia. She gets Sonia nerves.
