I have a 1998 Felicia 1.6 Glxi Facelift Model. Just wondering how to know if the car has an Immobiliser? 

 

The ignition barrel is jammed and key won't turn. The spare key has a tag on it with four different codes.

 

I would be grateful to know for sure if the car has an Immobiliser.

My 1996 1.3 GLi (now long departed) had an immobiliser - so I would say that there's a *very* high chance that yours has as well.  IIRC it was EU legislation required from around 1996-ish.

I think it became standard around 1996.

If you want to be 100% sure, you can take key apart and check if there's immobiliser chip (sorry for picture quality)
