hello fellow skoders,

 

this is the second time when this happens, first time happened last year in march. 

 

so initially the radio was dead today when i started the car and no buttons worked. after some driving, it started over and was flashing as in the video. 2-3 mins later it came back to life working as usual. i didn't get the chance to see if the touch screen was working.

 

is it sick? will it die soon? i anyway didn't like it too much as it was really slow. i might consider those android replacement.

 

the radio is the one with satnav and tv. the car is a skoda superb 2014. and that short creepy sound is my little one moaning in the back.

Typically this means faulty so called radio board, it has to be either repaired or replaced.

Have you tried a radio reset?

no, how do I do that?

Press the 2 L and R arrow buttons at the top left and microphone button at the top R until it boots off and let go.

I have exactly same problem but mine just flash Just I bought the car and 4 days later happened this with the head unit

It happened twice in almost 2 years for me and i left it flashing (not that I could do anything, unless I stop the car) and after about 2-3 minutes started working.

 

follow this very kind gentleman's advice and do a restart. i did one even if it was working fine after the flashing episode.
