Two big dogs in the estate?

Featured Replies

Hi all

I currently own a female Rottweiler and we are looking to add a German Shepherd to our family..as a result I'm looking to upgrade to a bigger car. I was initially thinking I might have to get a Superb estate but I've seen a nice Octavia Scout but I'm concerned whether the boot will be big enough.

Does anyone carry two large dogs in their Octavia estate and would you say it's a comfortable environment for the dogs?

Regards

Do what we did take your dogs/crates to the dealer ship and try them out. I'd be surprised if they refused we did it with Skoda/Seat/Merc/BMW/Volvo. Surprised at the real difference between cars that look bigger or smaller.

I’d say you need the Superb and I say this as a Scout owner with a Springer Spaniel..

Thanks. My only worry with the superb was the sloped rear window but the boot appears to be so low that it's probably not an issue.

There's only 40 or 50 litres in it between the Octavia and Superb, so actual / usable space may be similar. Go to the dealers as already suggested.

I have 2 Labradors in the back of my Octavia estate , while its a little bit snug I've never heard them complain.

I have a huge German Shepherd in the boot of my Octavia, no room for much else!
