LEAK!! passenger footwell is soaked

Featured Replies

Hi all,

the passenger footwell have a river running through it!
I can feel liquid coming through the vent below the glove box. Before I take it to a garage, is there an easy fix?

Thanks

Unblock your scuttle drains and clear all the debris out of the scuttle, you've been parking under trees I deduce.

Your cabin filter might be soaked as well.

Hey both, I have cleared out the scuttle and am waiting to see if that worked. Had some mad weather last night so I guess it did the job - have also been running the heating / AC to make sure it wasn’t that. Filter got a clean down also

thanks for the tip!
here is a great video for removal that I used

With Thanks to Wino :)

I used wet & dry handheld vacuum and sponge (lay flat, push down, rlse, and squeeze in a bucket) and kitchen paper and car heater ( it doesn't work to the feet, ok to screen & fascia,( https://tinyurl.com/no-heat-to-feet ) don't know why ? ) and a fan. Nearly there.Since 9 days ago :(.
