Hi, My engine light is on, garage say it is the sensor on the larger of the two cooling fans that controls the smaller fan. Apparently both fans work. I can only buy the whole fan as the sensor is built in, I refuse to pay the VW prices and intend to buy elsewhere. How do I identify the exact part number I need as they are multiple choices.? Thanks in anticipation

What year car, which engine type (or ideally code), climatic or climatronic A/C?
