Going thorough same problems and warranty claim as OP and @Yetta described .

 

Dealer said locks to be replaced.

 

I thought it was just one off rare unlucky fault but appears to be i am not the only one.

This happened to us and the car locked our 7 month old daughter inside....suffice to say it was harrowing.

 

Dealership don't really care too much about what happened as we are two months out of warranty.

 

Currently with the Škoda legal team seeking compensation.

Having issues with ours. Highly suspect it is the driver’s door lock. I will be plugging in diagnostics to have a look. If that confirms things I will swap the lock off. 
 

Does anyone know the door lock part numbers or able to search based on a VIN?

 

Was there an improved part number or is it just a swap and we think they’ll fail in another 4 years?
