Plastic door protectors... self closing

Featured Replies

Has anyone experienced the plastic sewrvi driven door protectors breakinbg off as you close a door.

I had one broken as it didn't close fully as the door was closed.  it in fact snapped it clean off.

Car is a Feb 2020 brand new purchase. ( 150 ps  4x4 tdi 5 str LS )    a warranty call was made but the Covid situation is making repair time slots almost impossible and Skoda are not offering a courtesy car which would be vital considering the distance to the dealer.

Surely this is a recall problem if its happened.  anyone else know of a similoar problem.

Thanks Guys

Exactly the same problem and outcome.

Its been listed as a warranty fault by Skoda and I'm not being charged for the repair. Just got to get it to the garage!

seems its well known and been flagged by Skoda Uk

An annoyance, certainly. Hardly a recall situation, as those are for serious safety issues.
