Repair Cost / Advice

Featured Replies

So....like a prize plum I reversed into a horizontal fence today.

The reverse sensors were going off, but I guess they had picked up the vertical posts 😭.

I got a quote from chipsaway and they reckon £360!! as a respray is required.

Anyone else had a similar repair done?

Is it just that crease in the top half of the boot lid? I’d have a dent removal specialist remove that without paint as it doesn’t look cracked in that photo.

Yeah, that's all it is, a small crease, no paint damage.

I'll see if a pdr centre can sort it out cheaper.

100% a PDR repair, they will go in via the licence place light apertures, £100 should easily cover it.

Struggling to get anyone who thinks they can do it with a PDR ☹️

I had this happen in a storm one night, and it was repaired to an undetectable level using PDR.

Can highly recommend The Dent Men in Hertfordshire.

£125+vat.

After being told that it wouldn't be possible for PDR by a local coachworks it took The Dent Men under an hour to sort this out.

Nice job, is that filled & sprayed or PDR?

Am guessing the latter for under an hours work.

I am guessing that " The Dent Man" is a PDR outfit vice the " Spray Men" ...

Yes, PDR.

Most pulled from the outside and a little bit of work from the inside, so he told me.

Excellent result from the looks of if!
