Thanks for making my day

It's a good one though :D

In any case, it wouldn't be a real Rapid unless the engine was in the back!

Made from what, possible touches of Audi A3 perhaps ort perhaps VW corrado

A3 back and sides with a Vabia VRS front.

roofline towards the back suggests combi..... unless im mistaken?

I wouldnt mind those wheels....

The wheels are actual Skoda rims, just photoshopped a fair bit larger..lol

In that case , I wish Skoda would make them for real! ...and 'photoshop' the price down to £50 a wheel.....heheh! ;)

LOL I was searching for a picture of a Yellow Skoda Rapid Coupe when I found this image, as I taught my mate to drive many years ago in one. It was N-reg (1974), one owner from new, 30,000 on the clock, and one previous owner. The engine was in the back like you say, and there was a grease nipple on the water pump! The price he paid was just

It's a photoshop of this, which does exist. Got this picture from a Skoda Media website:thumbup:

 If the Skoda you are talking about was a 1974 model it would have been an S110R coupe not a Rapid coupe. In my opinion it was the most stylish Skoda ever, better looking than the still good looking Rapid which was introduced in 1982.

 A modern rear engined Skoda coupe would be the ultimate in coolness!:D

What's a Vabia?

That Corrabia looks great.

I think you are right, it looked much like this -

I remember driving with him by Tattershall Castle, when he had to brake hard, the Alfa GTV behind was unable to stop as quickly and rammed us up the butt, this lifted the back wheels off the road  . Apart from a crumpled rear vallance, we were OK to continue our "driving lesson", the front end of the Alfa just disintegrated on impact leaving it undriveable. A tough car indeed.

How much is an S110R in near concours condition worth?
