Octaiva 1.6 FSI- When reversing the parking sensors on the screen do not come up. There is a beep for about 2 seconds. Had a VCDS scan with 2 faults:

2 Faults Found: 01546 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Mid-Left (G204) 009 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00101001 Fault Priority: 3 Fault Frequency: 2 Reset counter: 232 Mileage: 177787 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2000.00.00 Time: 15:43:59

01546 - Sensor for Parking Aid; Rear Mid-Left (G204) 004 - No Signal/Communication Freeze Frame: Fault Status: 00101001 Fault Priority: 3 Fault Frequency: 2 Reset counter: 232 Mileage: 177787 km Time Indication: 0 Date: 2000.00.00 Time: 15:43:59

Does the above mean that one rear mid left sensor need to be replaced and are they expensive ?

Search the forum, it's all here.

Same as mine, One sensor failed so knocks all of them off. Took mine out to identify it so i order the correct one. Ebay, Prices vary, Got it for £13, But you can genuine ones from dealer a lot more expensive though.

I got it replaced today. When the reverse gear is engaged the screen comes and it behaving like if something is at the back, when there is nothing at the back. Please see attached video.

Cleared fault codes with VCDS and also did factory reset but still the same?.

Ensure the sensors are clean.
