From Fabia to Octavia

Featured Replies

Just swopped the Fabia vrs for an Octavia vrs !

My first impressions ( 100 miles ) are great , certainly a much quieter drive at lower speeds although i think the furby was quieter at motorway speeds ( 6th gear obviously helping)

I went for a Yellow one in the end and am so glad i did - especially as the sun shone yesterday !

Just adjusting my driving style now , as i was used to just putting my foot down in any gear in the furby . The octavia needs to be worked a little harder IMO , but you get great rewards for effort :D :D :D

I have even managed 34mpg over the first 100 miles !!!

Just glad i dont regret swopping - although it looks like SWMBO might be getting a furby vrs later in the year.....perfect.

Glad you like it :) and it obviously helps that you've gone for the best colour !

Definately agree on that one

Hey I've just done the same thing!

I still getting to used to having to give it a few revs as i'm pulling away though. The furby could pull away in 1st without even touching the accelerator..

I found the ride seems a lot more stable as well..

Just done a 400 mile journey across m5/m42 and got 36.9 mpg which aint too bad..
