Seems simple to fit take the old plastic one off and then some braceing type bar to put in and then fit the metal one inplace of the plastic one, the compay who is going to make them is 110% the dogs balls knowing of them though a family member. the cost is:-

If you think its too expensive think how much a new engine could be if you didnt notice there was no oil in. And from reading the above thread the sound deading is worth it.

Is it tailored for a VRS or universal? has anyone put one on a humble wee non VRS?

I'd be interested but obviously not commiting to anything that isnt gonna fit my car

Also interested, would be nice to know if it could effect warranty (my vRS is only a month or so old), if a fool like me without ramps could fit it (or if there is anyone that could help?)....etc...sounds like a good idea and the photos look excellent, id be ready to part with my money for the GB but would worry that i'd never be able to fit.

Just a bit of rather flimsey plastic. more to stop dirt than protect your sump at all.

get on your knees and have a look its the bit hanging lower between the front wheels!

As regards fitting other fabias i personaly dont know but if you PM Josh_PoloGTi he's the man thats sorting this GB out and well he should know if it would fit other fabia's.

As with the warranty i believe it shouldnt effect it. My Vrs is coming up to 6months old and they would have to take the plastic one off to do some work so i dont see any differeance taking a metal one off which is more or less the same shape and size. Again if your unsure just ring up the dealer and double check with them(there a*rse holes if they say it does.)
