Has anybody fitted the Maxton kit yet? Do the side skirts have to be self tapped into the metal sill of the actual car???

I actually saw this guy do it in a vid hence the post, someone asked in a comment if he drilled them into his cills and he calmly replied yes

 

just wanted to know if any others have used that kit and is that how it’s normally attached? Not keen on self tapping plastic into cills on a new car

well mines coming up for 2 years old now..so its been in for a bit of a refresh and a coat of exo V5

Thats company leasing car. Quite large part of those kilometers comes from me driving around finland doing maintenance. 😄

@Twunkle for me wins ‘hands down’ luv yours. Mine is very much  main stream, and so ‘2021’…!

 

appreciate this may not be the place to say it, but my hybrid so far fails to impress, my former, a Golf estate 2018 2.0 DSG a better car in so so many ways. To name 3, suspension, paint work, hardwearing seats. This Skoda poor here...

Have ordered hyper green vRS estate.  Dealer sent these pics in meantime.

Still not a fan of the new wheels or new front end. Not so sure about the black exhaust trims either.
