Interesting.. I have absolutely zilch in the way of a mobile signal at the house.

I’ve connected it to the home WiFi, might try and just leave it on all day.. see if it pulls something through

EDIT: Also left it plugged into the charger so it wouldn’t auto turn off the ign.

When I bought mu Superb iV in May, the salesman said the maps should come up in the wirtual cockpit in the iV after an software update during summer 2020.

I still havent got this update although I asked the workshop to update if there are any updates avaliable..

Just checked the update portal today and is says there is a map update avaliable called ECE 2020/2021 and valid since CW

If I click download it will not download,

Also. I cannot find an SD card slot in the car.

Anyone can tell me if there is an update avaliable and if the map/ nav in the vitual cocpit will work?

Here is a snapshot from my infotainment.

Hi SuperbRaceBlue

You have MIB3 I presume. There is no slots. All happens online. Are you lacking any specific functionality in your system?

Not sure ajour the difference between Mib2 and 3.

Well. The salesman Said the nav would be avaliable in the virtual cockpit in an update last summe for the Amundsen/ iV config in a L&K

I am lacking that

If I may suggest- contact Skoda directly. I had my questions quite quickly answered messaging them over the tweeter.

FYI.. After leaving it all day, It didn't finish, now it doesn't report an available update.

I had my car at the dealer for oil service last week and also requested a software update for the head unit.

Before the service I had version 0156 and now it's 0278.

I haven't had the time yet to test that much. The unit was reset to defaults I believe and I had some trouble activating my profile.

Thanks Farfar, would you mind taking a picture of the system information page? Would like to use it if my dealer says there are no available updates 😉

Sorry for all the dirt 😅
