Skoda fabia 3 bulb IDs in VCDS

Featured Replies

I'm looking at fitting some LED indicator (front and back) and reversing bulbs but cant figure out what the bulb IDs are so I can change the load settings to prevent a "bulb out" error on the dash and hyperflash indicators.

The car is a MY16 Fabia Monte Carlo with the front LED running lights and projector headlights. The BCM is a 6C0 937 089 C.

As far as I'm aware it should be leuchte(bulb ID) but there are quite a few adaptations that contain leuchte and them being mostly in german doesn't help things.

There doesn't seem to be much information regarding bulb IDs so any help would be appreciated.

Can you post an adaptation map from your bcm? That way we can see exactly what you're dealing with 👍

Never done an adaptation map before but I think this is it.

adpmap-09-6C0-937-089-C_TMBFN6NJ3GZ16-20201218-1621.CSV

At a guess, the four channels are:

- Leuchte0BLK VLB35
- Leuchte1BLK VRB23

- Leuchte18BLK HLA71
- Leuchte19BLK HRC10

That's based on their current lasttyp being "Blinkleuchten" and them either being used as "Blinken links Hellphase" or "Blinken rechts Hellphase" :)

From what I could find online its the "lasttyp" that I need to change to "LED Blinkleuchten" so the BCM sends the correct PWM signal and expects the lower load of an LED. Is that correct?

Also are those bulb IDs for the indicators in order from front left to rear left? Am I also correct in thinking that the reverse light bulb ID is Leuchte28 even though there are 2 reverse light?

Fitted the bulbs today and they look great and are much brighter as well as the indicators now being instant on-off . As expected the car didnt like the bulbs but changing the load type of the bulbs using VCDS fixed that.

For anyone looking to do this the Bulb IDs and coding are as follows:

Module 09 Cent. Elect. > securitry access > 31347 > Adaptations

Indicators (doesn't include the repeaters on the side mirrors):

Leuchte0BLK VLB35-Type_Of_Load_0
Leuchte1BLK VRB23-Type_Of_Load_1

Leuchte18BLK HLA71-Type_Of_Load_18
Leuchte19BLK HRC10-Type_Of_Load_19

These all need to be changed from "Blinkleuchten" to "LED Blinkleuchten"

Reverse lights:

Leuchte28RFL C3-Type_Of_Load_28

For me this originally appeared as "unknown" so I changed it to "LED Bremsleuchten" which roughly translates to LED brakelights but it seems to work without any errors on the dash or in an autoscan.

If you tested the bulbs before coding them then you will have stored fault codes stored in the central electronics module that won't appear in the infotainemnt or on the dash.

Thanks you @langers2k for your help :)

Guys,

What should I do to fix the problem with reverse light.

I've already change the bulb for LED.

Did as you wrote:

Module 09 Cent. Elect. > securitry access > 31347 > Adaptations

 than I went to:

Leuchte28RFL C3-Type_Of_Load_28

Was "unknown" so I changed it to "LED BBremsleuchten"

And did't help, so I tried to go to:

Leuchte28RFL C3-Lampendefektbit_Position_28 and tried to switch 2B to 00. And still nothing.

Wirer can you help me, and write how to do this.

I've dane ance again the coding, and NOW it worked!

Leuchte28RFL C3-Lampendefektbit_Position_28 and tried to switch 2B to 00.

.

Wirer I appreciate what you're doing with your website, especially the BSD+RTA mode. Ever thinking of contact with you and putting this feature into my Fabia. Maybe in future. Long way from Poland.

Thanx anyway
