Aerodynamic noises on Superb MKIII

Featured Replies

Do you have aerodynamic noises from 100-120 km / h?

Especially on the doors and I have read that on the mirrors too, but I can't identify them.

I have adjusted the doors and placed some rubbers to seal better but I cannot eliminate it or at least reduce it.

What do you know about the matter?

Same here, no other solution found than driving with 90km/h....

We cannot A 90 you cannot go between 2 small towns ... we have to find a solution.

Double glazing on the front doors solves the problem.

Unfortunately it was not in option list back 2017.

There is only a limited amount you can do about this problem.

Remember that the door sealing and acoustic insulation on the Superb is just not as good as that which you find on VWs and Audis, for very obvious reasons.

So mechanical/wind/road noise will always seem that little bit higher.

It may be, but in a car of more than 40k euros those noises are not acceptable being also the largest car of the brand.
