Ambient light - 30 colors activation

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I have my Skoda Karoq with 10 colors by default. I changed them from 10, to 30. I restarted the MIB and I was able to see the new colors. I linked the colors on the driving profile mode... but my problem is that I can see the colors changes only on the virtual cockpit and on the MIB, not on the doors light, neither on the dashboard “line”... so I miss something in the coding?

The weird thing is that I can see the light changes on the MIB, looking at the doors and on the dashboard... but in the end, nothing happens...

May someone help me, please?

Thanks,

Mario

You have to modify all 4 lists. Those with LIN are for the doors

Hi, Thank you so much! I will try it today.

Do you have the list of RGB for each color? I found a video and i already have a list but is is not the same as the "original"... do you have that list?

Thanks

Hi,

I used the color codes from the description below this video

This is the video i had already found, i will use it.

I guess i have to put the same RGB number for the LIN and for the cockpit and the MIB, right?

I will do the work today, thank you for your help!

Yes, indeed. Insert The same values to match the color from dashboard and the doors

Hi,

Colors are a bit different between the MIB and the line on the dashboard, maybe the settings for the RGB must be different; but you helped me a lot because it is working right now

Thank you su much for your help!

Wish you a good day

Hello,

My colors are also a little bit different in between. But I'm.glad that you solved the problem. Maybe, someone with a little bit more knowledge then us will help solving those differences between dashboard and doors.

All the best

Yes, I made it with my OBD Eleven... remember to buy the Pro version, with that you can manage all control units by changing “adaptation” and the “long coding”. If you need help I will try to help you!

Have a good day

Maybe LED in the cockpit have different RGB scale than LED on the doors. I can’t find another explanation...

Maybe someone has the correct scale for 30 colors for Cockpit and Infotainment and the correct one for dashboard and doors as well

Sorry to bump and old thread, but see here, I've mapped 30 colours (for screen & ambilight) using the OEM colours as a starting point. The RGB scale is indeed different on the ambient light, than the screen.  Please see my post below in the Superb III forum, the post contains the values you need.

Hi everyone,

I activated the 30 colors option for ambient lights, and after activation, the ambient lights remained on during the day. I mentioned that the activation was done with OBD eleven, changing the initial value to 7ffffff.
I returned to the factory value with 10 colors, but theAambient  lights stay on, can you help me with some advice?

Thanks!

Are you sure they used to go off - I suspect the ambient lighting stays on all the time - just not visible in the daylight?

I remember clearly that they don't run in the daylight...
