I've noticed a vertical line in the centre of the virtual cockpit.  As it's not obvious at first glance I'm not sure if it's been there all the time and supposed to be there, or if the display is starting to fail.  Does anyone else have a similar line, or is it time for a trip to the dealers?

Looks like a faulty LCD panel in the cluster to me, the garage will probably need to replace the entire cluster to fix it.

 

On a related note, there is a TSB/TPI about vertical lines on some radio LCD panels and the official fix is to replace the entire display so it's not completely unheard of to have this kind of issue.

Hei. I have 2019 superb with virtual and i have sama problem. The line is on sama exact spot. Did yours got fixed? Was it under warranty? Mine is over cause of mileage is 132000km. Anyone knows about goodwill?

I’m not sure what kind of tech that is, but I had the same on my brand new LG oled tv but that magically disappeared after a few weeks.

 

If that screen is lcd it probably won’t go sadly 

Sorry, I never updated this. The dealer replaced the cluster (to my pleasant surprise). But it was under warranty.

We have occasional similar issues with LCD displays at work. The usual cause is dust getting into places it shouldn't. A quick brush out generally fixes it.
