Today I pick up my new Karoq 1.5Tsi DSG, its still hard snow/ice on the back road where I live in the North East and will be having the pleasure of driving on summer tyres

 

My current car is a Volvo V60 with Michelin x climates on and excellent in winter conditions. 

 

And this is the first petrol car I've had since 2005.

 

Was hoping to wait till next week, but the dealer thinks they may be locked down shortly as in Scotland with no click and collect.

Don't suppose the V60 shares a tyre/wheel size with the Karoq? - not that it matters if you're chopping it in.

Police Scotland would certainly not be impressed with you travelling to Scotland to collect a car.

There is already a Tier 4 in operation and no travelling in and out of Scotland unless essential and really collecting a car is not considered to be essential.

Nowhere near Scotland, only went into Darlington. They were only doing click and collect so no inside contact, all e signed and done at a distance in the car park.

 

I would have left it but they pushed me into getting it incase we locked down like Scotland. ( I think they wanted the money)

 

Car seems great on the only time I've driven it on Friday
