Hi guys, I feel stupid asking this but endless googling isn’t working for me. 
 

I’ve recently bought a pre facelift 2013 Mk2 Superb (I love it!). I’ve noticed that the inner rear lights (the ones in the boot lid) only come on for the reverse & fog lights. Is this how they all are or should they illuminate with the normal tail & brake lights? Just seems odd to have a good third of the light cluster going unused 95% of the time.

I might be remembering wrong, but I seem to recall there was a highline and lowline version of these.  The highline one had tails also in the boot lid but the lowline did not.

Ah right. Thanks. It’s a 2.0tdi 140 DSG elegance. Didn’t see anything about highline / lowline in the sales info. As long as it’s not broken I’m happy.
