2018 Superb Estate Car Seat Query

Featured Replies

Wondering if any parents can tell me what the space is like for a rear facing car seat in the back of the Superb please :)

Thanks

Michael

I think unless you have someone who's 6' 6" in the front the space would be adequate - there really isn't another car short of the 7 Series, S Class or A8 that would offer more room in the back 🙂

Don't worry about rear space in a Superb.  If there was one car on the market that I would recommend for leg space, it would be the Superb.  If you've got 2 other child car seats in the back, then it might be a tight on width, but one on it's own will not be a problem.

Agreed - if there isnt enough legroom in the superb - then you will need to buy a Van / Minibus!

I think only the Audi A8 has more.

With the seats fully back there is still loads of foot space in the rear, which makes me wonder why they penny piched and didn't fit folding seat bases in the estate?

Loads of room mate. I've got a rearward facing seat behind the passenger seat and there's oodles of room 👍

Can confrim having mine a few days now there is plenty of room in the car for a rear facing baby seat.

It's so big in fact that my wife who is 6 foot tall can either sit in the front seat with the baby seat behind or behind me to be with the baby and still have room (I'm 6"3)

even with a rear facing child seat in place, there is still plenty of space between the end of it and the back of the front seat.
u could easily "fit" a full sized adult in that gap!!
