Bad condendation, already sealed doorcard

Featured Replies

My fabia estate has loads of condensation. I have already sealed the rear doorcard up wich was leaking, but it is leaking elsewhere too.

I took the trim off from the top of the bootlid and it had loads of water droplets there and under the edge of headlining too. Is it likely to be leaking from the ariel or 3rd breaklight, or both? Are these also common leaking points? If so are they easy to seal up?

It gets in from the air then condenses out and runs down the windows overnight, it doesn't have to be raining, just cold.

Fabia life.......... Cat litter in socks seems a popular solution (not wood based pellets) I kid you not

Silica packets stuffed down the windscreen vents work well too.

I used to keep big Silica packets under the front seats in my 1.4, that thing had its own microclimate, the 2.0 doesn't seem as bad.

i have 2 big Silica bags in mine one up front and one on the parcel shelf i change them every week with a dry pair.
